SDAdham commented Oct 12, 2024

I would like to be able to add custom rules to tabby where for example, if a string matches a certain criteria/regex then it would open the link with a custom selected app.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am frustrated when I have to copy and paste certain text like sub/path/to/file.ts:12:32 and open with VS Code manually.

Describe the solution you'd like
I want to integrate tabby with VS Code, instead of using VS Code's built-in tabby, I want to use tabby to open files that are generated from errors-like:
sub/path/to/file.ts:12:32 to be opened with VS Code automatically.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried to look into linkifier built-in plugin, but nothing helpful. I can't even find it's source code

Additional context
Please allow custom regexes and custom actions to be set.
