How to suppress zeroes in charts?

Providing zeroes in the data causes the zeroes to present in a chart section with the number that belongs in that chart section, sending an empty string results in NaN presenting at the beginning of the chart. Both are not great. Is there a "suppress zeroes" setting, or is this a code change?

This function produces a chart in an html file output, the stored procedure that it executes contains some zeroes, sometimes:
