Describe the bug

I noticed that in game close particles seemed to be having transparency issues when they overlapped with more distance particle effects:

In this example, there is a large 'cloud' particle effect in the background that is causing the issue.

To Reproduce

  1. Create two particle emitters
  2. Put one further away
  3. See the transparency/sorting problem

Expected behavior

I believe this is the expected behavior - however there is currently no way to get around this. I'm not sure how it's handled in other engines.
