Feature description

Disable annoying persistence of "Permission required" notification when disabling notification permission for the app to enhance compatability with SpamBlocker and other DNC/stir/shaken apps.

My current fix is to use DND mode as a system-wide per-app notification filter with Messages notifications set to enabled (to stop the notification popping up), with SpamBlocker notifications also set to enabled, then on DND I have Messages notifications set to disabled. This prevents double messages but gets rid of the popup.

Why do you want this feature?

Greater compatability with DNC spam blocking apps that enable stir/shaken functionality on devices. Also the stock sms app (with the ugly dark mode) does not exhibit this behavior. It only prompts to enable notification permission once then never again.

In notification settings, disable Received SMS channel instead of revoking a permission.

We don't want to disable this pop-up, because users like clicking through things without reading, and then they will be surprised that they don't get any notifications.
