Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Download app
  2. Your audio files from the previous app aren't visible

Expected behavior

A rescan button which rescans a user selected file for audio files

Actual behavior

No former audio

Tested this further on a new Android 14 install by:

  1. Installed both Fossify Voice-Recorder and SMT Voice-Recorder
  2. Recorded audio in both apps
  3. Verified with a file manager that both apps placed audio in the default directory
  4. Then checked both apps and they were unable to find each other's audio files and could only locate what they recorded

Hey, so I ran into this as well, I'm running Android 13.

What I first suspected this was was some sort of a metadata issue, however I tried a workaround by creating a folder within Recordings called FossifyRecordings and paste the recordings in there, where for some reason it picked them up. However, I also ran into #22, because I had almost 250 recordings from the SMT app.
