How to use @@var

I'm new with gulp-html-extend,
I would like to use @@var system but I can't find exemple of the how to use it.
I probably should declare the var somewhere and how to use it after ?

I need to use this on my index for exemple to switch between 2 parameter.

Can some one help me? Show me the way?
