Everyone will get a participation certificate after completion of Gssoc.If you are in Top 100 you will get Appreciation certificate and if you are in Top 50 you will get shoutouts on social media platforms as well get some cool swags.The top 3 contributors will get cash as Prize money.

Yes.Now in this year if the rules don't change the i guess so this will not change.

I think its not a right.
Because I saw the pulls of no 1 on leaderboard, saw that his pr merged multiple times for the one project.
Every feature or issue only this man know, what about other they even can get a chance to make pr.
And finally
I think it's not fair.

   • Appreciation Certificate: The top 100 contributors will receive an appreciation certificate.
   • Goodies and Swags: The top 50 contributors will receive goodies and swags from GSSoC/GitHub, which will be revealed on August 10th. They will also receive shoutouts on social media platforms.
   • Cash Prizes: The top 3 contributors will receive cash prizes.

2. Regarding the PRs from the top contributor, they have reviewed it and adjusted the points according to the guidelines. Although it may seem a bit concerning and inappropriate, it’s important to note that the contributor is highly active in that particular project. Anyone could have raised issues or concerns there.

GSSoC is committed to fairness, and the core team and program manager @sanjay-kv ensure a thorough review of the top contributors.

3. Regarding rewards for others, The program is extensive, and unfortunately, we can't provide rewards to everyone, right?

However, the GSSoC team is dedicated to recognizing all contributors they may have planned something. For example, they may offer rewards such as free .xyz domain coupons. So, keep contributing tomorrow is the last day, and there are still opportunities to make the most of it.
