In the documentation, "An Omron D2F-series microswitch with lever, or equivalent (e.g., D2F-01L, see below)" is called out, and a few lines later "The mod also assumes that the switch's operating force is the standard 1.47 Newtons". A link is provided for the D2F datasheet, and looking at the datasheet the only microswitch that fits that spec is the one without the lever (the Pin Plunger Model).
EDIT: Thinking my way through this, is it because the lever reduces the amount of force required to depress the plunger?
EDIT: I see it now. On the second page there is a list of models with the operating force. Please disregard and close this issue.
