@jj0hns0n I think that this is due to your changes to the search.js. The html5 mode is deactivated and this prevents angular to get the correct url parameters. If you uncomment the lines should work well all the browsers except for ie 9=<. I'm closing this as consequence of #1886
Does that mean that we don't have a functional search in IE9?
If we are closing this one, we should keep #1886 open until there is a fix
that works for #1886 and #1904
