I'm having a similar problem with a QIDI Tech 1 as lain67 had in January 2023. Everything works with the QIDIprint slicer. I can directly output .x3g, or output gcode and convert it with gpx.exe -m r1d. Of course that's a outdated slicer and I want to use the latest Cura. I can also output gcode from Cura and convert it with gpx.exe -m r1d. But when I directly output from Cura to x3g, when it gets to the portion of the code where it's supposed to home the Z axis, nothing happens. It will eventually move on, but then produce a flat print. So somehow the Z information is being lost.
Cura 5.6.0.
X3gwriter 1.1.13
gpx 2.6.8
I can post all the relevant files if there's an interest. It's just a calibration cube.
