This is planning ticket for team to discuss structure of the blog page.

As a user, when I finish reading a blog post, I may want to discover other additional posts. I would like easily be able to navigate to other posts from the node page. I don't want to have to click back to the list view all the time to get more details about about to read.

Some ideas

  • show posts with similar tags
  • show other posts by author, if they exist
  • have a block that lists tags so user can select another tag and see all posts with that content

Personally, I've never found archive blocks that list all the posts by year very helpful. Just feels like a long list of stuff with very little context. I do like how sites are using next/previous to let users read pieces sequentially, especially when there's a bit more context, like title of the post, as @skyfaerie currently has included, or a little teaser. However, as a user, I would also like to discover content that's related to the post i'm reading by some determined criteria.
