Is there an existing issue for this?

What happened?

The month and day of the week background colour in the Gnome panel look out of place but cannot be changed?

To Reproduce

  1. Click month/date in the Gnome panel.
  2. Observe the background colours for month/day of the week.

Expected behavior

Not sure, maybe the same colour as buttons?
