App appears to fail to load when a json file is not found for a given year/month combo. #610

@bradcypert Thanks for reporting the problem. We know that the algorithm is already outdated, but we welcome your contribution if you want to patch up the algorithm to make it working again. Edit: This would be a great candidate for a Hacktober issue. |

@bradcypert Looks like the running Angular.js version is way out of date. Also, this would require a complete rewrite of the code in order to get it working again. |
Currently, May 2023 has no hackathons and the application fails to load. There is no error message and there is no indication that there are no hackathons that match the current month search.
