AdMob ads don't appear (Android)

This doesn't seem to be showing AdMob ads on Android (I haven't tried iOS yet).

I'm not sure if this is because the app is not live yet, but I think it should be showing something, since the other networks I tried (Applovin, AdColony and Chartboost) show test ads, and I can see the AdMob ads when using an AdMob-only extension.

Could someone please confirm this? I tried using more recent versions of the AdMob adapter (3.0.0, 3.0.2, 4.0.3), none of them made any difference.

I had the same problem. I got things working by using this adapter https://bintray.com/supersonic/android-adapters/admob-adapter/2.1.0

You will also have to do a clean build to make it work.
