Coloured Bananas that appear from Chunky's boulder in Japes can be assigned to the wrong kong

Pick up boulder on Chunky's switch, throw it as chunky then immediately tag another kong. The coloured banana bunch that spawns will be the colour of the currently tagged kong when the boulder smashes.

Isn't Lanky supposed to grab blue bananas? Those bananas are blue originally, so I think the game is doing it correctly.

However, I must add something (maybe related) that happened to me in Aztec Ruins. I went for the 100% completion and Tiny ended up with just 90 purple bananas obtained. I literally spent like 6 hours looking at guides, going over the entire level and trying to get the final 10 bananas without luck. Finally, had to restart a new savegame and tried not to tag too much when being nearby to colored bananas, just in case.

I am not exactly sure what happened :-/

Just had the same thing happen - Lanky somehow ended up with 105 Bananas in this level (although it stops counting at 100 and just repeats the fanfare for every banana collected) and Chunky only with 95. Not sure where exactly the colored banana swapped color, might also be one of the ones around Cranky's Lab in the thunderstorm area.
