[Feature] Ability to autostart sessions #310
Comments
Thank you for creating an issue. I'll take a look soon as I can. |
1 - What do you mean some times sound is off? if you do not turn it on? or is there a bug here? if so please create a separate issue with how to reproduce + information about OS/Python version and how you are installing pydoro. 1 - I don't think a console application can make the terminal window come up to top. This is not possible without knowing information about different terminal applications there are (how to make it cross platform would also be very hard) - You might be able to add this feature to a fork of pydoro for your own personal use (so it just support your terminal emulator application) 2 - Good idea. If you like to contribute please send a PR. 👍🏽 |
1- Yes sound is off manually no problem or bug. I wanted it to come on top as a sign of timer being finished since I don't have sound (like I'm in a library or somewhere I can't have sound🙂) 2- Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable enough to do so. Feel free to close the issue if none of the suggestions will happen or keep it open if someone felt to do it in my stead.❤️ |
Will keep open. I might also do it when I get a holiday. |
Do you want to save the entire session or just simply restart a timer? |
@sachinsenal0x64 if you are interested, Auto start is for either rest sessions or work sessions, so if both are enabled it means all are auto started.. this means that user is no longer required to start a break or a work session.. |
Hello
1- Sometimes sound is off, and you don't know your session in over or not so what I want is when the session ends (work or rest) the terminal window comes up, so we know the session (work or rest) is over. - Not doable
2- AutoStart sessions ability for Rest and Work sessions; I want them separated; for example, I want Rest session to be automated but Work session be manual some other guy might want it both automated that why I want autostart to be separated. - Good idea
