Kegstand is all about providing a cloud service framework:

  • Writing logic without boilerplate
  • Defining common infra with minimal boilerplate
  • And making the build/deploy steps a little bit simpler

Whereas Beth is all about instrumenting the lint-test-build-deploy lifecycle:

  • Enabling collision-free deployments with usable cross-stack resource imports
  • Streamlining the commandline arguments for linting and unit testing
  • Providing convenience functions for managing cloud stacks/resources

So this task is all about expanding the CLI tool to include import/export tricks, branched/scoped naming, and more convenience commands.
