Here is the code:

pat = r"^[_a-z0-9-]+(\.[_a-z0-9-]+)*@[a-z0-9-]+(\.[a-z0-9-]+)*(\.[a-z]{2,4})$"
ismatch(pat, "[email protected]")
m = match(pat, "[email protected]")
m.match
m.offset
m.captures

Pressing ctrl+space after m. has no effect. Would be nice to have autocompletion for this, thanks!
