The desctop applications currently uses Electron and this is not a modern approach any more.

It would be better to server KIMB-Notes itself as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
The used AppCache for the mobile Homescreen application is also based on an outdated technique AppCache (https://blog.chromium.org/2020/01/appcache-scope-restricted.html).

Thus, the KIMB-Notes app should provide a modern PWA for desktops and mobiles (of course, check if iOS supports PWA as Homescreen application).
