Any way to limit trakt lists?

I see that I can limit the # of results used for IMDB lists via the

    imdb_list: 
      url: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=feature,tv_movie,documentary,short
      limit: 40

But this doesn't work for trakt lists:

  Best of 2020:
    trakt_list:
      url: https://trakt.tv/users/lish408/lists/rotten-tomatoes-best-of-2020
      limit: 100

Trakt Error: No valid Trakt Lists in [ordereddict([('url', 'https://trakt.tv/users/lish408/lists/rotten-tomatoes-best-of-2020'), ('limit', 100)])] |

Fair enough.  But is there any other way to limit this?  Currently, that particular trakt list is 238 movies long.  I'd like to only care about 100 or 50 of them, preferrably the "top" 100 or 50.  Is this possible?

unfortunately no mainly because i cant sort them. I think the trakt api has the ability to sort but the wrapper i use doesn't have the options there. I plan on attempting to add it at some point but i dont know if ill be able to
