I don't see any critical errors in the log, also on my system this game works out of the box. If your GPU supports Vulkan you can try to install DXVK into your WINEPREFIX, maybe this will help.
And i recommend running games while being inside the directory with their exe, i mean:
Some games do not work otherwise. |

Also I am on i3wm - without a compositor, if it is related somehow. |

Unfortunately, i don't know why it does not work on your system, i don't see any critical errors in the log. As i as said, i works out of the box on my system, and i use AMD iGPU too (mine is RDNA3 though, not RDNA2). Given that we use the same container, this problem may be related to the kernel or to something else that is outside the container but interacts with it in some way (for example, Xorg or sound server). Or maybe there is a bug in Mesa that affects your iGPU, but does not affect mine. I heard that some games do not work on systems with too many threads count, don't know if this game is affected by this though and if 32 threads is too many or not. You can try to run the game with other Wine versions from here. |

The Armies of Exigo runs for me on another system - Ubuntu, so yes, looks like something with my kernel :(( |

I don't get this error, but usually such errors can be solved by enabling virtual desktop in winecfg.
On Ubuntu with Conty? |

Виртульный рабочий стол сломан в wine-ge и, вроде как, в обычном Proton тоже. Я советую попробовать запустить игру через Conty, но не через встроенный Wine, а через сторонний. Например:

Tried Conty on Ubuntu, after removing of local Wine: works as expected :( |

Попробуй, как я выше посоветовал, запустить игру через Conty, но не через встроенный в него wine-ge, а через Wine 9.4 из другого моего репозитория. Просто есть вероятность, что у тебя именно с wine-ge игра не запускается. |

But Conty already works, on Ubuntu, but not on Gentoo :( |

Maybe something with my kernel or missing dependency :( |

I tried Wine from package manager on my Gentoo - game works, but 1 FPS :( |

I got this message on Reddit:
Maybe some missing dependency in Conty, for 32 bit games? |

On Gentoo with Conty I hear the sound of the game, looks like it running but not visible... In log I see
I am on X, running multiple displays, without a compositor. Resolution of the game (1280x1024) is lower than in my Gentoo. |

Do you know some project that is similar to Conty? Thanks you again for your work, maybe I can try another container... |

@Kron4ek This project packed 32 bit libraries to appImage - maybe it can inspire you to do the same https://github.com/ivan-hc/Steam-appimage |
