How to run Steam through Gamescope?

Some games start only when I disable other displays to have 1 - so I think maybe Gamescope fix it.

I tried

conty-1.25.2 gamescope -f -- steam

Running Conty

No CAP_SYS_NICE, falling back to regular-priority compute and threads.
Performance will be affected.

Ops now it starts the Steam - previously Steam was already started, sorry.

...but still cannot start Armies of Exigo :(

The graphics system cannot set display mode

Do you have some idea? When it starts when only 1 display is running.

SOLVED:

$ conty-1.25.2 gamescope -h 1920 -H 1920 -- steam

Armies of Exigo is 1920x1080 but my display is 1920x1200 and I want to use the full screen, I tried

conty-1.25.2 gamescope -h 1920 -w 1080 -H 1920 -W 1200 -S integer -- steam

but again on start got

The graphics system cannot set display mode

Any ideas?
