Description

There was a report about this that got derailed a while back and had no screenshot.
This happens in loaded chunks w/ FTB chunks, and also just time without leaving the base. (AFK overnight)
Have not tested other chunk loaders, yet.
I've also tried using an EU P2P and Mekanism Universal Cables. In this case they stop working until I pick up and put the machines back down.
The cables show the issue the most visibly, but don't seem to be the root cause.
Restarting the server fixes issue, restarting the client does not.

To Reproduce

Use any kind of EU power supply not from IC2 and wait, not much to go on I know.
But either the cables break, or in the case of the P2P connectors or universal cables the machines just stop receiving power.
My exact setup is the same for each machine, they have power coming from Mek in some form (energy cube, or cable) instead of IC2, and each have 10 Overclockers. I only mention this as I can't remember having issues earlier in the pack with a straight IC2 power system and <=2 overclockers.

In the screenshot, I had picked up and put down a couple for testing, they didn't fully reconnect until a server restart.
The one thing that stands out to me staring at the screenshot is the last two machines on the left are in a different chunk and don't seem to be affected, however, this entire setup recently moved from a chunk further away and had the same problem there.

Modpack version

Happened in both 1.47 & current as of writing for me 1.54 (No mention of anything relevant in latest 1.55 changelog)

debug.log or Crash report

Not a crash, no visible errors, an error or small crash could have happened in the moment, but it's always during an extended period of time and only noticable when autocrafts start failing so I have no logs of it happening.

PS Thanks for making this pack.

This is a known bug. We looking for solution for ears already.

To fix the issue you need any of the following

  • Achieve Conflux III and have all chunks constantly being loaded.
  • Load chunks with another means, not by FTBQ. For example with IC2 Chunk loader.

That was a shockingly fast reply, thank you.
I'll switch to another chunk loader for now.
