It could also be a good idea to add a tooltip on the workspace widget of the upcoming Komorebi bar, that would list the window titles on a workspace. This way you could easily see which windows you have on a workspace just by hover over the buttons on the bar. |

TL;DR:
If you have program A open on workspace X, and program B open on workspace Y, currently there's no way to track which workspace the programs are at without cycling through all workspaces manually and discovering the open programs.
An optional semi-transparent display popup that gets shown:
Will make the tiling and window-managing experience much more powerful! 💪
Story:
With several windows, it's easy to lose track of which workspace what's on. 😓
"Let's say I am currently on a workspace with a Chrome window open, and I want to pull up Telegram beside it. I had opened Telegram on workspace 3, but I've forgotten that by now."
If I want to pull up Telegram, I can:
Now I am at Telegram! 🚀
But now, how do I find Chrome? 🤔 I could Alt-Tab to it, but that wouldn't tell me which workspace it's on. I could Alt-Tab back to Telegram, but I still don't know what workspace it's at.
The only option left is to cycle through all my 7 workspaces, make note of the workspace index both programs are at, then focus on either window and move to the other window's workspace. 😫
A simple popup every time a hotkey is pressed or workspaces get switched would not only constantly help me keep track of where everything is with very little cognitive overhead but also allow me to group things together as I go on opening and tiling applications. This enhances my speed multiple folds! 🚀
