Obtaining augment ID for movement speed #1254

Hello. I am currently in the middle of developing A Shantotto's Ascension. The end reward for this is legs that can give an augment of 8% movement speed. Movement speed is not currently commented for one of the augment IDs in augments.sql. Another developer helping me with this did the tedious task of assigning each augment ID to an item in game, and went through up to 2300 where augments seem to loop around to the start again. None of them gave the text of movement speed. Thought I'd reach out here to see if anyone could help point us in the right direction to get this augment information to apply the correct text to the item in game. I've got a capture from retail last week obtaining the end reward with movement speed, if that would help with finding the right info. Happy to answer any questions! |

👋 Hey, I haven't looked at augments before, but if you're getting wrap-around, then likely there is an alignment issue. I had the same sort of thing happen to me when I was mapping out the data for pankration. Do you have caps where you chose movement speed+ augments so we can compare? |

moving this as a comment and not a answer I am finishing up ASA currently and I have comparable captures with the treasure coffer in Lower Jeuno. I captured ACP and AMK interactions separatly get more information on how retail handles this. If it would help with implementing this chest after I have completed ASA I can upload the 3 varying captures and redeem the 3 keys all in one capture. If you would like to use that information now I can also upload it asap. |

Retail caps are the source of truth for what we do. The more reference points the better, and I would suggest uploading the caps to the Captures Discord that way everyone can benefit. Even if we get it working the first time, there are many occasions where I've circled back to those references. |

Another developer on the Wings team by the name of Ari found the correct augment ID of 913 for movement speed. It requires a minimum power of 2 or else the text in game does not appear as movement speed. |

A lot of currently unmarked augments are like that. some require additional core work to display properly on top of this due to a misunderstanding of item packets/missing fields in the current item packets. Of the ones that are already marked in project, some require a minimum power and correct multiplier in their sql row or the values display wrong (visually +0 of a an augment) I haven't had much free time and when I do, I have other priorities, so anybody wanting to update that table with confirmed retail values from a packet cap as their own original work is a very welcome pull request waiting to happen. |

not sure, the dat contents they are pulling and the order in the packets the game actually use do not at all line up and a long time ago I spent way to much time trying to reconcile the 2. |
