I'm running into an Issue with the Windy Mission 5-2. I have been following the guide located on this website https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Shadow_Awaits. I got all the way to the Throne Room door and when I examine the door nothing happens for me. Has anyone else run into this before?

I checked the what works page https://github.com/LandSandBoat/server/wiki/What-Works and it says that those missions should work. Not sure if I'm just doing something wrong or not.

update: If you toggle GM on it shows all the available BCNM's you can enter when you examine the door. If you turn off GM the door goes back to not giving me any options.

Update 2: I did a fresh install of the server and repo and still having the same issue.

I would check for any add-on or could possible skipped something, make sure client is up to date. Sometimes it best to talk to NPC multiple times to get correct CS or Dialogue. Also when toggle as GM you will always see all BCNM's when checking entrance for any BCNM, but not all is active. But if this truly a issue it needs to be in Issues that can get looked into.

Thanks for the reply. I will set this up on another character to make sure I didn't miss anything while doing the mission. I don't normally use addons for FFXI so I don't think that is my issue. If I run into it again on my second character I will report on the Issues section.

Two things to be mindful of:

Sometimes people forget or are just unaware they are running with the fps plugin and are going over the 30fps cap. This has been known to cause issues with cut scenes on occasion.

Some optional dialogues on the wikis are not treated as optional in our scripts... may be worth talking to the guards as well if you did not do so originally.

"Optional: As before, the Star Sibyl guards and other NPCs in Heavens Tower have additional dialogue at this point. Oddly, the two guards nearest the Vestal Chamber only get new dialog after your CS there."

Did see within the mission script itself that Zubaba does have a check for additional dialogue when you still have the summons.

I was able to resolve the issue I was having with this mission. I went back to confirm I had all the cutscenes and I did get another one from Star Sibyl. I also spoke with the guards as well and I was able to get the option to join the battle from the door. Thank you both for you guidance I will make sure double check that before I post any other issues in the future.
