MariaDB Connector/Python was build with MariaDB Connector/C 3.3.1, while the loaded MariaDB Connector/C library has version 3.2.6.

Hi all,

Firstly let me say thanks for all the hard work that goes into this project. I am absolutely loving what's going on here.

I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue. As the title says, that's the error I'm getting when trying to run the dbtool.py. I've tried a bunch to get past it, but I fear it's beyond my poor skills. I'm running ubuntu 22.04. everything is up to date. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

update pip, then have pip update your packages in dbtools requirements..txt per its instructions

pip install -r requirements.txt

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately that does not work. Another post had suggested I try upgrading pip first. When I try pip install -r requirements.txt, it just says Requirement already satisfied and the same error occurs when trying to run the dbtool.py.

Possibly try upgrading or downgrading python itself

I'm on 3.7 still.

oh nope, I updated to 3.12 yesterday and forgot

anyway, its a version mismatch for sure. somethinsg too new or too old compared to something being used

Happy I could help. I had the same thing happen yesterday and updated my everything when it happened.
