Hello 👋

I've installed the version 2.4.3 of the YouChoose.AI Chrome extension, and I currently can't see the recommendations in the YouTube side bar.

Is the recommendations API still up? If yes I might need to check if something is locally blocking or filtering my HTTP traffic.

Here is the video I've watched:

The server returns a 502 Bad Gateway. I know the project is still in beta, so let me know if it's a know bug.

Thank you!

Dear Gresille & Siffle,

thanks for your note, I confirm the bug. The reason is that our backend suffered from a hardware failure, and I'm currently migrating the server.

Although we didn't lose the data, restoring the previous database would take longer than rebuilding the backend.

Oh sorry to hear that. Thank you for the quick answer @vecna, good luck with the database restoration.

I'm working on the Tournsol software, which include a web extension that adds video recommendations on the YouTube front page, and I wanted to test the YouChoose.AI one.

I'm really excited by the YouChoose.AI project and as a user I'd like to be able to use both Tournesol and YouChoose.AI extensions. I think they are currently compatible, fortunately none of these extensions are actually modifying the same HTML sections.

With YouChoose.AI installed I hope to detect potential incompatibility introduced by the Tournesol extension before pushing new updates on Chrome Web Store & Firefox Add-ons.
