загружаю данные с помощью http.request, затем подставляю в data значение response
эту ссылку загрузит нормально:
https://games-sdk.yandex.ru/games/api/sdk/v1/player/avatar/0/islands-retina-small

а эта например является статичной gif:
https://games-sdk.yandex.ru/games/api/sdk/v1/player/avatar/5723ZRSRQ2YL6NX4MAS5G2P5HGWDWUKVQTBWP746B57WO6FEDCY342IQMW4BI4MTMIHAS3MNSIBXDD7N3XEVTHGQDG42CSIZHX2W2ID4E4R6UUYKFQNNVKRDKDB6SG5VGCN4LWC6UYKJNCQ2IQ6PP76J3ZMFNFY2QBTZE3A46CSL4BFZ4Y3YVOCOT53O4MLYTV2BI6DDTM743UBE6AQ74===/islands-retina-small

но выдает буффер без данных:
