Hi

Would it be possible to select a top 3 or top 10 of our achievemnts and objectives ?

But also to be able to compare it with the feeling of our friends

my top 3

1. Trip to
2. Swim with dolphin
3. Go to space

my top 3 for DB

1. Be a Life contributor
   .... :p

it can be nice to have different points of views

Maybe that could be automated, by sorting achievements smartly. If you put
a lot of pictures, a nicer description, etc. that achievement should have
more visibility. This way users don't have to sort stuff (because that's
complicated, UI-wise) and they can still rank they favorite things high
easily (by simply being more active on them).

I prefer Uriel's idea as well. It's also good to keep the interface and the
features simple.

I have no idea about the technical issues ...

For me it is not exactly the same, but if it is to difficult to implement NP

That means that your top achievement is with a lot of comments and photos !!! So I cannot have a great achievement in my life like be drunk, have a night bath (it is not really the pictures people want to have in Internet)
or you can have achievement when you do not have any smartphone (yes yes it is possible !!)

for me it was more to click on a button/ drop down list 1st , 2nd or third
after the achievement is just tagged as 1st ... in the table
I just agree to be able to have the feeling of the contacts must be more difficult (need storage)
and like that it is displayed in your Board the achievement that you tag as your best one

It's not that hard technically, it's more a matter of defining precisely
the user experience. Like, how do you rank a new achievement? Say you just
unlocked something you're very proud of. Do you have to unlock it, then go
to the list of achievements, then scroll until you find it and drag and
drop it to the top of the list?

Automated sorting has its drawbacks too. Relying on number of
pictures/comments/some other quality metrics means the lists will likely
stagnate over time, and it will be self-reinforcing (people will notice
high-ranking achievements in their friends' profiles more, and will be more
active on those). Integrating freshness in the equation would kind of solve
that but negates the original idea of showing off your favorites.

Maybe both are possible, too. On your profile you could select some
pictures from achievements you unlocked and show off your top N pictures
(which would link to your achievements), but the complete list of your
achievements would be sorted by signal+freshness.
