It seems the website is no longer functional..

Is that intentional?

Just temporarily, it'll be back up by end of next week.
Unfortunately, someone launched a coordinated DDoS across 7 of my web apps, landing me with a pretty big compute and bandwidth bill 😥. Web-check was the worst affected, and has cost me the most, so while I work through things with Cloudflare and Vercel, I've had to take it down. I'm sorry.

I'm working hard to put steps in place to ensure this cannot happen again, and am aiming to have web-check back up and running in the next couple of days. But I've taken a pretty big hit financially from this, so please be patient with me while I work through this...

Sorry for any inconvenience.
In the meantime, if you need it, it's pretty easy to deploy your own instance to a VPS or local server.

I'll update you when it's back up, and will also share the postmortem report.

Unfortunely, in the long-run, I might have to make some changes like increased rate-limiting and shorter runtimes, but I am trying to find ways around this, and I do plan to keep web-check (and all my other apps) free and available for everyone. It's just a shame that there's always one person who spoils the fun for everyone 😮‍💨
