What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get all the ships in a DESRON killed
2. Wait for the next occasion when the carrier group receives orders
3. Note that the non-existent DESRON has also received orders

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Starshatter 5.0.5, Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

In the dynamic campaign... deployed ships can be reconsituted from the fleet as 
long as the fleet has the remaining ship types/numbers in it OOB. But once a 
particular ship is destroyed, it is permananely deleted from the applicable 
Fleet OOB unless the campaign is started all over.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean that even if all frigates and 
destroyers in squadron "Gerrond" are dead, and "Gerrond" no longer appears on 
the forces screen in the campaign, "Gerrond" still exists and may have 
replacement ships added to it later in the campaign?

This is controlled by campaign.def and by predefined story in it. Some events 
will happen like they were suppose to like if you wouldn't be playing as 
element in that region. Especially if you do something unexpected.
