This is a transient phenomenon as far as I can tell: One hit is the actual blog post, the other is the /blog top level.
This looks as if it needs to be addressed in the search config by excluding /blog.
The cut-off issueis due to the somewhat unfortunate layout that we have with the right menu column pinned to the bottom of the screen. This cuts off the fancy floating algolia window. I would welcome any PRs for an improved layout. Or have the algolia results appear inside the normal area instead of a floating window. I remember that there existed an earlier incarnation of the algolia code that would replace the page with the search results.
Recent posts appear in duplicates in search results
Older posts (2019) don't seem to be affected
Also the "powered by algolia" is cut on my screen for some reason
