If downloaded from the website as an executable it installs correctly. |
Noticed a difference between the built-in updater and the executable installer: So it may just be that the built in updater is unable to successfully terminate the adb process to allow the upgrade. |

can confirm ending adb.exe process in task manager works. |
Attempted to update with the built in update (for 2.14.1) multiple times on Win 10 and Win 11 machines. The build in updater seems to fail and does not post an error. The first update a week or two worked fine (2.14.0). Different machines used different A/V systems and both were disabled at time of updating.
