Image never changes

I've downloaded this plugin from both the Ubersicht Widgets site as well as GitHub and both widgets never display a different image on my desktop. When I install the widget an image is properly loaded and displayed. However, after that the image never changes. If I remove and reinstall the widget, a new image from Google will be displayed. However, after running the widget for several days I am stuck with the image that was first displayed after installation.

I have tried adjusting the refresh frequency but that has had no effect on this issue. Am I overlooking something here? My expectation was that this plugin would load a new image from Google Earth every time it refreshed.

I have created a pull request for this issue. Please refer to my pull request here #3 in order to get a working version. I had the same problem as you so I decided to investigate :) Just replace the widget with the one I have in my pull request which you can download and it should work.
