Red Hat CloudForms is no longer being sold, however that product transferred over to IBM and is now sold as the Infrastructure Management component of the Cloud Pak for AIOps.
ManageIQ / Infrastructure Management sounds like it covers your use cases of service catalog across Cloud and OpenShift environments.
I am not at liberty to say, however know that the members of the ManageIQ core team works for IBM in this capacity. |

Dear @Fryguy Thank you very much for your reply, I was afraid to ask trivial questions. I am conducting a market survey to find the best open-source solution at the moment that covers my use case. If I am not out of line, I would also like to ask you if the fact that it is developed in Ruby On Rails could be a future problem with regard to a possible change of technology. I love Ruby On Rails but I know it no longer has the hype it had in the past. Do you have any thoughts on this issue? Another important issue for me is the rebranding of the GUI. Is it more convenient to create an app from scratch that calls the MangeIQ API or is it possible to customise it with the style of the client's internal portals? if it is useful I have developed a totally opensource chaos engineering tool (named kubeinvaders - https://github.com/lucky-sideburn/kubeinvaders ), I am thinking of creating a service template for ManageIQ to order chaos engineering sessions for Kubernetes :) Thank you, |

Hype is just that, hype...it doesn't really mean that the project works any less than it did before. 😄 It would be different if Rails contributions were dropping but it is still very active.
I'm not sure? ManageIQ's UI can be modified in the sense that the login background and logos can be changed as well as some color highlights, I believe. However, if a completely new layout is needed, then I think you'd have to create your own UI. Note that the API is not 100% complete, so there may be some things missing if you created a new UI from scratch.
Cool! I'd be interested to hear what you find. |

Hello everyone,
I apologise in advance if I am asking for some information that has already been defined in some post.
For a client of mine I have to implement a service catalogue to create resources on different cloud providers and openshift environments. The goal is to structure a process that will track costs according to the business unit requesting the resources and automate the creation of workloads. I felt that ManageIQ was the right choice. However, I have a few questions.
