Stuck after entering verification code #58

I have updated my code to use a newer whatsapp version and run the following line: python2 whatsdump.py --wa-phone +xxxxxxxxxx --wa-verify sms. The program gets stuck after verifying by SMS. After I enter the code I see: [INFO] Dialog message: Verifying…

I have tried letting it run and I have also tried helping it along by tapping on the google verification etc. None of this works. Any ideas?
