When i tried to login, i got this notice:
phone number: *****
*** 1638455314.209780 Notification API_64BIT_LOGIN_APP_OUTDATED_214: You are using an outdated app that is no longer supported. To access your messages, please update your app to the latest version.
*** 1638455314.210441 Incorrect phone number

Maybe telegram just set some limits to client version?

Thank you for reporting this! I'll check it asap, I'm afraid the upstream project is dead and I'm only maintaining the snap package, I'm not sure if there is much I can do but I'll try!

I'll also see if we can find a solution from other similar projects.
BTW, is there a possible way to migrate the session from one device to another? I have another device with this snap package installed and the account is still online on that device, I'm also trying to migrate the session as a temporary solution.

OMG, I hope it he will find a way to fix this... I love the cli version!

Telegram is deprecating older API versions, including the one used by telegram-cli. This has already broken support for many other clients. Since upstream is no longer working on this project, I’d have to fork it and rebase the snap on my fork. I’m not sure if I can even implement a newer API version. I’ll keep you updated here.
