Hi,
I am using ibdump to monitor message errors. How can I resolve this issue?

I encountered the same error. I used the libdump-6_1_0 release version in conjunction with MLNX_OFED_LINUX-5.8-5.1.1.2, and it worked. Also, you should use the flag make WITHOUT_FW_TOOLS=yes if you are using 5th gen IB devices (ConnectX-4 & newer).
