Unable to create new, or modify existing smpl meshes.

^ I am getting this error when trying to create a mesh via the plugin.

and this one when I try to change the shape of the model I downloaded from meshcapade website.

Do let me know If I am missing anything here. I followed all the installation instructions. Also the model is selected and in object mode when doing all of the above.
