I have been playing with the X68000 core and I find it awesome. Thanks for the great work.
Now, I am struggling a bit with the saving mechanism. I understand that I have to use the blank disk to store the saves but I can't figure it out.
I am playing Castlevania in HDF and when I create a new save or delete an old one, the changes are not committed once I reset or turn off the system.
I tried loading the game first using the HDF file and then loading the blank disk after that to FDD0. Then I would save the FDD0 to the SD card but to no avail.
Can anyone shed some light here? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks again.
Best,
D

I have just checked and my files are all hdf (uncompressed). What process do you follow to save your games in this core? Do they just save automatically?
Thanks again!

Saving does not work with .hdf files. Pretty sure it's a limitation of the core, as I've already confirmed this with numerous other users. Doesn't matter if they're already extracted from zip.
