Considering that GML-OOP now seems to have a somehow notable userbase, given the number of stars this repository received and that releasing previews for this version will be a long-term endeavor, I am experimenting with something I have not done previously: publicly requesting good will with direct implementations of features integrated into code available in the repository. I have noted the details on the Contributing Wiki page. I listed features that I would like GML-OOP to finally support, but that are not prioritized enough and/or I cannot implement myself without prior extensive research, meaning the time spent on them would better be dedicated to other aspects of this and other projects. These are features I personally do not use regularly, but which still could useful for someone if properly supported, and that I wish would not lag behind in terms of quality, compared to the rest of the codebase. I hope this is not too much to ask for after carrying years of development and maintenance of GML-OOP on my own shoulders. |
