GlobeControls: Orthographic camera can get into a bad state #745

Transitioning to ortho camera can result in a blank camera view and subsequently can cause the camera to spin out of control. Need a repro position.

Possibly due to transitioning from too far a distance? The perspective camera can wind up under the terrain
