• open time: Mahsa and Luis came to screenshare in a breakout room to parallize code with Dask for EMIT data that kept timing out with credentials. Ended up doing this in Main room with 14 Mentors: we learned things about using Hub as well as thoughts for how to parallelize code. This will be important to teach conceptually - one way is we'll develop this for Champions Coding Strategies call in May
• Aronne Merelli (2023 Champion) shared about his experience “fledging” with Coiled; discuss with Mentors. This will prepare Aronne to present his story to on April 3 to kick off 2024 Champions teams. Mentors excited to hear this story, and gave great feedback and comments to support his presentation. Matt Rocklin (Coiled) also screenshared the Coiled dashboard and discussed cost: highest-cost day for Aronne was $5, in part since Aronne tests on small sets first
