I have been using meep for running some simulations for extracting the far-field pattern for a dipole emitter embedded within a GaAs cylindrical mesa-like structure.
I have also been following a bit the discussions in the Issues related to the problems for dipole sources defined in cylindrical coordinates.
I have tried defining my source dipole at $r=0$ and by giving it a slight offset, i.e, $r=1.5\Delta r$. However, in both of these cases I cannot get the far-field radiation pattern to convergence as a function of resolution.
Having said this, I just wanted to ask if there was any update on the problems related to point dipole emitters in cylindrical coordinates? Any suggestion on how can I get the results to convergence?

Hello there meep community,
