It would be nice to have something analagous to restructuredtext's ..note:: or ..warning:: directives to optionally emphasize certain paragraphs on the site, such as the election nominations link.

It's up to you how to design and implement this. There may be something already in place to do this; if so, pointing it out to me and documenting it somewhere would fix this issue.

I happen to need this for a front-page note in PR #76 , if only past me had known this was a thing and future me would need it. I'll think about ways to implement this soon.
