The current description for password policy anonymous_name_lookup is "Determines whether or not an anonymous user may query the local LSA policy. "

he following Windows policy settings exist:

"Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM account"
"Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares"
"Allow anonymous SID/Name translation"

Can the underlying Windows setting be clarified?

Ah, I see in a word doc version of the spec, it mentions

Alternate name: "Allow anonymous SID/Name translation".
