The issue is not to validate the timestamp of a CO2eq reduction claim. How did you get this naive vision?
Is there an environmental engineer among your "experts"? Would love to introduce him the collateralisation of banking sector via CO2eq and the biased industrial strategies that the mere CO2eq impact assessment metrics (GWP100) are creating. There are many more issues, eg. sampling data validation, economic Ponzi schemes, uncompensated externalities and much more. Perhaps is time to work seriously given you work for free for an organization that makes a lot of money through tracks appositely set wrongly.
How to work in the right direction? 1) Need to associate to the GWP100 indicator other indicators, eg you can see the EPD standard 2) Need to be able to track cumulates of GHG along supply chain stages 3) Need to be able to relate CO2eq metrics to land-use transparency allocation and pecuniary outcome of activities over such land extension
