Snapshot rather old

After noticing my chaindata had grown to over 3TB, I wanted to replace it by a current snapshot. After downloading the snapshot I noticed it was 15M blocks behind, or roughly two days of syncing, which is rather long.

It would be appreciated if the snapshots could be updated at least slightly more frequently, perhaps once a week. The downtime for either pruning or resyncing is quite excessive.
