This issue is dealing with the «Specify» abstraction (i.e, not inheritance, «StrictComposite» or «ExtendedComposite») and supports the federation of models.
A clear definition of the «Specify» abstraction is missing; like:

  • Which problems can the mechanism solve?
  • Usage rules?

It was stated, that the mechanism must be open for enhancements.
